I am having a terrible experience with 2co! They restricted my account without any notification and I just got to know it by logging into my account as my payment was due and I hadnt received any payment email.

On inquiring, they asked me to send sale details (tracking number, courier used and sales number) for two months and it further said that you can still receive orders from your customers. It also stated that it usually takes 21 business days to resolve the issue or earlier. I emailed them the same, meanwhile my customers were purchasing products. 5 days later, they emailed again and asked for the same details to be sent in an excel sheet.

I replied them with those details in an excel sheet with further details (some details of my Prime customers with partial payments) . 5 days later, they emailed and said instalments arent accepted. Please give us further details. I replied that ai already sent those details and if its not accepted I will be careful free now onwards as I didnt know this.

5 days later they asked more details of current month sales with sales number mentioned, they asked for their invoices. Its been almost 16 business days since my account is restricted. I have almost 8000$ held to be released by them. They keep on asking details although I have been doing business with them past three years.

Perhaps, they suspect fraud but I gave them all the details I could and they should have called those customers as they get their data and confirmed from them. I just am curious if I will ever get my hard earned money or its screwed?

They are keeping my money!!

I need an advice from anyone who possibly have passed by the situation I’m passing now. I have a 2checkout payment gateway in my online store and, since at least 3 months ago, I overcame their $300 limit of sales and was eligible to receive my first wire transfer. Actually, I sold more than the double of this limit. But so far, they didn’t transferred a single dollar to me. During the last 2 months, I’ve tried to have any explanation from 2checkout side, without any success. Seriously: I didn’t receive a single line from 2checkout about why I can’t have my money in my account, my emails are just remaining without any answers. I don’t know who I can talk with regarding my case, I’m loosing the hopes to have my money. Do I need to seek for legal help? Who I should talk with in this case? Or should I call the cops to have their attention? I’m in Brazil and 2Checkout doesn’t have a established office here. Any help or advice would be appreciate, please. Thanks!

As business owner I believe customer service is the most important part of the business when it comes to a very competitive industry like merchant service that 2checkout is in. I contacted 2checkout trying to setup my merchant account.

Unlike other merchant providers where i would receive phone call from salesperson and guide me thru the process. I receive an email from a salesperson name Frank Petõ with 2 lines and asking me to wait because they are too busy with too many applications. Understood business got busy some time. The very next day i sent all documents i was asked about my business.

I setup my business website like they asked for and they came back saying they need more information. I simply replied back saying that i tried to list everything clearly on my site (or maybe not for them I could understand) and I asked them please let me know what part they want more detail. The next day i received an email from them saying they don't approve my application. If this is kind of experience you want.

Please go with it. I can't believe how worse it could be once we join them if customer like you and me are treated like this even BEFORE we use their service.

Good Luck guys. Worldpay or braintree seem to be better.

Terrible customer service & constant mess ups when it comes to account maintenance and processing. I cannot describe how frustrating it was, I lost money as they mistakenly cancelled a transaction for some ridiculous reason, without even verifying first. Then left it to me to ask the customer to pay again when they couldn't rectify with the bank themselves. They take forever to respond and suspend your account with no notice and for no reason. For small businesses it makes absolutely no sense. You spend more money trying to sort stuff out with customer service than you get from selling.

AWFUL support service. Took me a week and 10 (!) emails to even get answers to an inquiry on API integration - which went around in circles because the customer support simply would not answer my questions and didn't even seem to understand how to read them. In conclusion after all the runaround (and most likely initiated by the *** support employee) 2Checkout ended up rejecting my account. And what's the forbidden item they rejected? Weekly newsletter subscriptions (!). They must be pretty desperate. One week of my valued time wasted on this. Good to know. Never again 2 Checkout. Ten years of payment gateway experience but I've never had one this bad. Besides, the site had endless problems with the login and I had to reset the password every single time. Don't waste your time. It's clear too many people have unreliable services with this company including 2Checkout freezing funds way too often. That is simply unacceptable.

2co has a list or prohibited items, my products doesnt fall in their prohibited list.. Suddenly i got an email rejecting my products ,why? Answer: "unsupported" ,really?! Dafuq? Explain why it is ""unsupported"", Nope .... "unsupported" "compliance team" "unsupported" .. Very disappointing!

Do Not Trust 2checkout.com - They will close your account without warning and hold your funds!

I was 2checkout.com seller and everything was going great until they suspended my account without prior warning and held $245 of my money. I have family to take care of and 3 year old daughter, however these people can do whatever they like and put other people lives in danger! They should at least give some type of warning about account closure, but they didn't. And they will hold your money for 90 days, while they earn interest in bank! Do not trust www.2checkout.com they will steal your money and close your account without warning! Please do not use this company!

Yeah I have the same experience, 2CO is fraud and pathetic payment processor, their Fraud department is actually a fraud itself, they PASSED your transaction and after few days ask some transaction to refund as those transactions were PASSED in error, non-professional, ***, Fraud, all these words suits 2CO

Very bad customer service, If you want to loose your money then 2CO is best way to do so, I,ll recommend NOT to choose 2CO as your payment processor in results of my experience.

This is how we have been robbed by 2Checkout in the pretext of global payment: Transaction ID: 105412****44 Payment done by customer in INR: 75500/- Payment converted in USD: 1150.65/- (Payment is less, as very high conversion rate is applied which 2CheckOut says this includes hedge charges, third party fees etc. which was never communicated nor disclosed, they write 5.5% + 45c only, it was expected to received approx $1234 USD based on FX conversion INR 61.15 / USD, but charged INR 65/USD) Reserve Held: 57.54 USD 2CO Fees: 63.74 USD Adjust: 15.00 USD (At the time of wire transfer, this money was deducted) Final Payment: 1014.37 USD Total Charged: 17.79 % vs of 5.5% + 45c Do you really think, merchant like us will survive our business paying through 2Checkout? When contacted customer care: All vague replies and never got the answer. Ticket raised: 4704-WTFN-4113 ( 4th Nov) 9005-WAHN-5941 (10th Nov) PS: Those who are outside US and want to transact with 2Checkout, think twice before dealing with fraudsters !

2CO Refuses Canadian Credit Card and Possibly Steals Personal ID and Card Number

When I attempted to pay with my Canadian MasterCard, 2CO refused to process it. A notice said they only process US currency! Yet, it is obvious Canadian currency is converted to US by the company's bank. Never has my card been refused. It occurred to me 2CO now has my card number and personal ID. When I asked the company whose products I was trying to buy to get a signed statement from 2CO guaranteeing they had deleted my card number and personal information, the company refused to do so. Consequently, I have reported both to the Better Business Bureau.

Sellers (including Canadian sellers) who are going through one particular banking route won’t have Mastercard in currency as a payment option, so customers must choose USD as the currency if they want to pay with a Mastercard.

The card information isn’t stored until the transaction actually goes through; if it gets declined or rejected, no information is recorded or stored.
